I swim!

My mommy & daddy finally got the hint that I was ready to start taking some swim lessons. So far it has been awesome! I have already made a few friends & I am almost the oldest one in my swim class, don't worry that pool is heated! They are teaching me to float on my back & hold my breath under water. Mommy & daddy practice with me in the tub every night now! A girl needs a break every once in awhile guys! Enjoy the pics & look forward to more swimming posts!

Odesa

10 Months

Odesa turned 10 months today and I cant believe we are nearing her 1st birthday! She now is cruising along furniture and has been toying with the idea that she is a big girl now and big girls stand up by themselves. I fear walking is around the corner! She has her own personality now, full of likes & dislikes, a rainbow of moods and a sense of humor that brings me laughter everyday. She is stubborn, curious, determined, extremely affectionate and happy. We plays games now, she even initiates them most of the time. I have recently come to terms with the fact that she is actually a tiny person growing more capable & smart everyday and will soon no longer be a baby.

We moved into our new home at the beginning of the month and are so happy. Odesa loves all the freedom she has here. Though we did have to get her knee pads since we have hard floors now but she seems to get along in them just fine.

9 months

9 months brought us a lot of changes... she can now take tiny steps while holding on to my fingers and can pull herself up to standing. She can say dada, mama and I swear she says baby when she sees pictures of babies. Needless to say our days are very active! If you want to get her to sit still for a moment its not to hard, just turn on Yo Gabba Gabba or Sesame Street.

For those of you out there without babies, yes I am posting this on New Years Eve, I then plan on taking a much needed shower and getting to bed by 9:30 because I promised Mike a morning of sleeping in so I will be up with Odie bright and early tomorrow!!

8 Months

We now have teeth! Two little bottom teeth popped up and more are on their way. Odesa is crawling now & she can go from belly to sitting on her own. We also met Santa this month! We now go to Gymboree once a week and love it.
