A Day in the Life of Odesa....

I have been busy these days here in Ladera Ranch. My mornings start between 6:30 & 7am, mommy or daddy reluctantly get out of bed & take me to my room to get some AM play time in. They usually try to sleep on my big girl bed so I have to keep going over there & making sure they are awake. That's right, I now have a big girl bed, which is my crib mattress on the floor. I was wondering why they bothered even buying a crib but I guess it was just to hold my big girl bed in until I was ready for it. I still sleep in mommy & daddy's bed at night but I take naps in my room these days.

I usually eat breakfast next- when I say eat breakfast I mean make mommy & daddy make me meal after meal while I refuse them all. I'm just trying to keep them on their toes. Then I go to the park for an hour & practice my calestetics. I can now climb up & down the playground by myself and can go down the slide solo! It took lots of practice & even more trips, falls and ouchies. After the park I take my first nap for about an hour in my own room. Mommy nurses me then we lay down on my bed together and next thing I know I wake up happy and alone. My favorite show is on after nap so I get to relax and finish waking up while sipping on some juice & watching Yo Gabba Gabba and mommy makes my lunch. Lunch is usually pretty good so I eat it without too much trouble. Its hard to push away raviolis, risotto, PB&J's or whatever other yummy meal she makes.

After lunch we either do something super fun, clean (boring!) or go to all kinds of different party's in the car, my mom calls it running errands but its just like a party. There are tons of people there smiling & chatting with you and you usually get to take home stuff, um- party favors. My favorite party is called Trader Joe's, we get to pick out all kinds of food and bring it home, if I make a stink mom usually opens something right there & gives it to me! I get to ride in this cool cart & sometimes I get a balloon at the end. If we have to clean I usually help mommy, hey I am a toddler now so I have to start pulling my weight around here. I can help unload the dishwasher- I hand mommy all the silverware one by one & she puts them in the drawer, I can also do the same with the laundry. Obviously my favorite thing is when we do something super fun. We go play with my friends, we go to the petting zoo, visit grannie & grandad, go to Gymboree, or play with my cousins.

After party's or cleaning or super fun stuff mom usually gives me a snack. After that its back to my room for another nap. This one is an hour/hour & a half. After my last nap I get to watch another show while mom makes dinner. Then the best part of my whole day happeends- daddy comes home! We all eat dinner together and then we all go for a walk to the playground with Lou Dog. After that its straight to the bath for this sticky fingered toddler. After bath mommy & daddy take me to my room where we all play & read books. I can even read one too- Mr. Brown Can Moo, it's a classic. After that I go to mommy & daddy's room where mommy nurses me then lays down in bed with me, I usually fall asleep pretty quick because I am so tired!
